Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Kulim, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Engineer Failure Analysis to uncover root causes and drive improvements ensuring products meet top quality, reliability and performance standards. You will handle discrete and IC FA, perform microscopy, prepare FA reports for root cause and corrective actions, and own FA tools development.

A degree in electrical engineering and 3+ years in semiconductor FA are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master/Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor or failure analysis.
• Experience with IC/Discrete FA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• up to medium level of Discrete and IC FA including electrical verification and fault isolation on package and wafer samples.
• Perform sample preparation and microscopy inspection for clear visualization of package and wafer level defects.
• Prepare FA reports that can lead to root cause finding and corrective action to cross functional team.
• FA tool ownership to ensure smooth operation and carry out method development and optimization.
