Job summary

Infineon Technologies Malaysia is seeking a Senior Engineer Quality Engineering to drive root-cause analysis, implement quality improvements, and ensure product quality and reliability in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will lead non-conformance handling, contribute to FMEA/CPK monitoring, and participate in risk assessments and safety launches for process changes. A degree in engineering with 2+ years in semiconductors is expected, with proficiency in 8D, SPC and related quality tools.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or higher in Semiconductor/Engineering fields.
• Minimum 2 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in FMEA, 8D and SPC with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Sustain line quality through non-conformance handling (PDP, MRB, QMR, SCAR, Red/Yellow Tag).
• Participate as 8D team member for customer complaints and own quality documents (control plan, PC/QC specs).
• Perform internal audits (e.g., Process Line Walk) and close findings.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Line

• sustaining by non-conformance handling in the line through PDP, MRB, QMR, SCAR, Red/Yellow Tag systematic, as well as drive for improvement
• To actively participate as 8D report team member for customer complaints Owner for quality related documents such as control plan and PC/QC process specification
• Perform internal audit (e.g., Process Line Walk) and follow up on findings
• To support risk assessment and safe launch activities for internal and external non-conformance, and process changes (GCM) projects
• To participate in discussion for all related document/projects such as FMEA, equipment release criteria, process changes (GCM), SPC and CPK monitoring
• Use of SPC data for improvement activities

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Degree/Master/PhD in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science)
• Preferred with minimum of 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing with good package manufacturing knowledge and quality systematic know-how Good knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and packaging technology Knowledge of FMEA, 8D and SPC tools Ability to demonstrate a methodical and logical approach in problem-solving analysis
