Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia, seeks an Engineer Failure Analysis to uncover root causes behind electrical and package failures, driving improvements for reliability and performance.

You will perform FA on wafers and packages, prepare reports, interact with designers, test, process integration and customer quality teams, and help achieve EFA KPIs in a cross‑functional setting.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Experience in failure analysis and root-cause investigation is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with FA tools and defect imaging techniques is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform up to medium level of Discrete Failure Analysis on wafer and package level.
• Prepare FA reports leading to root cause finding and corrective actions.
• Present FA results in cross-functional meetings and projects.
• Interface with designers, test, process engineers and QCM teams to understand requirements.
• Contribute to achieving EFA KPIs and perform Fault Tree Analysis when needed.
