KOSSAN GROUP – Perusahaan Getah Asas Sdn Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Plant Utilities Manager to lead utilities, facilities, and infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operation.
You will drive preventive maintenance, monitor performance, and provide technical leadership to engineers and contractors while ensuring GMP, safety, and regulatory compliance in a large manufacturing environment. Manage and oversee all plant utilities, facilities, infrastructure, and related equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programmes for utilities and facilities, including routine, corrective, and shutdown maintenance.
Monitor and improve utilities performance, reliability, availability, and efficiency while reducing energy, water, and maintenance costs.
Provide engineering support for new installations, equipment modifications, upgrading, testing, commissioning, and capital expenditure projects.
Oversee key plant utility systems, including electrical supply, water supply, compressed air, HVAC, cooling systems, boilers, generators, fire protection systems, and building facilities.
Lead troubleshooting and failure investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimise recurring breakdowns.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in utilities, facilities, energy management, maintenance effectiveness, and Asset Life Cycle Management.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, GMP, safety, environmental, and other applicable standards for utilities and facilities.
Provide technical leadership and supervision to engineers, technicians, and contractors, including work planning, performance monitoring, coaching, and competency development.
Support Management in engineering strategy and projects, including budgeting, cost optimisation, risk assessment, contractor management, and other assigned engineering activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Machinery and Equipment, Design Engineering.
Experience
5 years’ hand-on working experience in manufacturing or related field
Experience in manufacturing field with ISO compliance and regulatory environment.
