KOSSAN GROUP – Perusahaan Getah Asas Sdn Bhd. is seeking a Production Technician to monitor production parameters, perform adjustments and ensure GMP and safety practices on the dipping line. The role requires a Diploma or SKM level in engineering and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and may be considered for entry-level roles. The company is a leading latex disposable glove manufacturer with extensive plant operations in Malaysia.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
1. To monitor and record parameters of production process as stated in the work instruction and carry out adjustment according to instructions.
2. To monitor abnormality in the process control and report to the Production Engineer.
3. To carry out chemical addition, checking temperature and other work instructed by superior.
4. To remove the un-stripped glove from former before entering coagulant dipping tank.
5. To clean dipping line including tanks, walkways and platforms during monthly preventive maintenance of the machine.
6. To service, clean, modify, change or repair any parts or equipment such as burners, pumps, motors, piping, etc. within the factory as instructed by superior.
7. To ensure all chemicals and water level at all tanks, as per requirement.
8. To be responsible for house-keeping of dipping line.
9. Always adhere to company working attire requirement eg: wearing gloves, face mask, shoes, safety helmet and ear plug/ear protection.
10. To ensure perform GMP practice and safety practice.
11. Other assigned duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum SKM level/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Able to communicate well with superior and subordinates.
Systematic and positive problem-solving approach.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
