Job summary

Tecan CDMO Solutions PN Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a detail-oriented BOM and engineering data specialist to manage BOM, item master and ECO data entry into the MRP and supporting systems.

You will generate and verify BOM data, interpret customer documents, and ensure accuracy of data entered into Manex and Harmony. The role requires manufacturing experience, EMS understanding, and ability to coordinate across functions on complex changes.

Responsibilities

• Enter BOM, item master and ECO data into MRP and supporting systems.

• Maintain data integrity in Manex and Harmony systems.
• Release documentation such as specifications and drawings using Harmony.
• Support cross-functional teams on complex engineering change management.

Overall responsible Bill of Material (BOM), item master and Engineering Change Order (ECO) data entry and administration into company MRP and other supporting system. The engineering activities include BOM generation, component part number information maintenance, customer documentation / drawing release, change management documentation, and etc.

Responsible in interpreting customer BOM and documents, generate new BOM and verification to ensure accuracy of data entry.

Communicate directly with customer on BOM or engineering changes discrepancy pertaining to the BOM and engineering change update in Manex and Harmony system.

For senior position and above, he/she need to facilitate and coordinate within cross functional teams for complex engineering change management.

Perform system setup and data validation into Manex and Harmony system; and maintain data integrity.

Support CFT in cross referencing customer BOM with in-house part numbers.

Manage the release of documentation—such as specifications, drawings, customer BOMs, and technical updates, using the Harmony system

Assist section manager on implementation of improvement activities and project assign

Basic Education

Degree – no experience neededor Preferred diploma with 5 years of experience
