Job summary

Misc Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to provide technical support and perform metering and instrumentation design for offshore facilities, ensuring safe, fit-for-purpose, cost-effective deliverables within schedule. Responsibilities include developing basis of design and specifications for MSQ/RFQ metering systems, and delivering engineering deliverables per project planning.

Requires 7–10 years offshore experience, BOE registration, and a BE degree; PE with practicing

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of offshore facilities experience (CPP, FPSO/FSO, FLNG, etc.).
• Experience with floaters metering systems and instrumentation design (Conceptual Study, FEED, and DDE) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ EPCC project experience for the specified engineering discipline.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution; BOE registration as Graduate Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and perform metering and instrument engineering deliverables offshore to ensure safe, robust design.
• Develop basis of design, functional & equipment specs, and SOW for MSQ/RFQ of metering systems.
• Produce engineering deliverables aligned with project planning and schedule.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or related)

Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (Graduate Engineer)

Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate / Registered with relevant professional body (preferable)

Job description

Provide technical support and perform engineering calculation/analysis, drawings/ layouts and package specifications for project execution within stipulated schedule and cost.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop and perform metering and instrument engineering deliverables and tasks in Offshore, to ensure safe, fit-for-purpose, robust and cost-effective design and operation.
• Develop basis of design, functional & equipment specifications, and SOW for MSQ / RFQ of metering systems and instrumentation.
• Develop and perform the engineering deliverables as per project planning and schedule.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in offshore facilities (i.e. CPP, FPSO/ FSO, FLNG, etc.).
• Experience in floaters type metering systems and instrumentation design aspect is preferred (Conceptual Study, FEED and DDE).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in EPCC project for specific engineering discipline role.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or other related engineering discipline) from a recognized institution.
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia, minimum as Graduate Engineer.
• Preference: Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate / Registered with relevant professional body.
