Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Kulim, Kedah, seeks a software developer to create automation solutions for dispatching and production use-cases using the AMAT RTD-framework.

You will collaborate with the FE-wide RTD community and cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering and Quality, to standardize solutions and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Strong foundation in programming and data structures is essential, with interest in automation for FE production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
• Professional experience in coding and programming with strong software development fundamentals.
• Ideally some background with AMAT RTD-framework.
• Strong interest in data structures and automation in FE production environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for analysing complex material flows on the shop floor.
• Initial work experience in FE production and material handling processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement to enhance RTD and automation solutions.
• Maintain sustaining and continuous improvement of existing solutions.

• Develop software solutions for dispatching and automation-use-cases using the AMAT RTD-framework
• Contribute to the ongoing key digitalization projects for Kulim - e.g. one SAP, TPS@KLM or OMAHA rollout
• Close collaboration with the FE-wide RTD community and within cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering and Quality
• Ensure high level of standardization and re-use of solutions & methods in the FE Cluster
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance the RTD and automation solutions
• Ensure sustaining and continuous improvement of the exiting solutions

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Production Logistics.
• Professional experience in coding and programming, with a strong foundation in software development principles and practices
• Ideally already some background / expertise with AMAT RTD-framework
• A strong interest in data structures and the development of automation solutions in front-end (FE) production environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex material flows on the shop floor
• Some initial work experience in FE production and related processes, including material handling system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
