Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a hands-on maintenance specialist for test equipment, performing PM/ calibration and conversion tasks. You will handle escalations, support disposition on low yields, and collaborate with engineering teams to achieve KPI targets like OEE and yield.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in semiconductor ATE maintenance, strong English documentation skills, and experience with MS Office, safety culture, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of semiconductor ATE and handler maintenance experience.
• Ability to read/write English technical documents and collaborate in a team.
• Ability to write reports and share learnings with technicians.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills with internal/external partners.
• Knowledge of 5S, safety culture, and zero-defect mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, tester calibration, and conversion tasks independently.
• Receive escalation from shift technician for next-level troubleshooting.
• Support disposition on low test yield affecting shipments.
• Close line disturbances and interface with Product Eng, Test Dev Eng, and Subcon Eng.
• Assist with machine buy-off, conversion kits buy-off, and data collection.

Job description

Primary owner for test equipment PM/Conversion/next level trouble shooting to ensure test equipment stability and Quality.

Your role Key responsibilities

Perform Test equipment PM/Tester Calibration/Conversion independently, Receive escalation from shift technician for next level machine trouble shooting. Provide basic support on disposition on low test yield affecting shipments and delivery.

• a) Supports closure of line disturbance, low yield lots and maverick issues
• b) Interface with Product Engineering, Test Development Engineering, and Subcon Engineering Co-working with engineer to deliver critical equipment KPI: such as OEE, Yield, etc..

Assist engineer to conduct machine buy off, new conversion kits buyoff and finish data collection.

Your profile Qualifications and skills

• Diploma in Electronic Engineering or related Engineering course.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on Semiconductor ATE & handler maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and calibration.
• Good at reading/writing English technical documents and team collaboration.
• Able to write reports and to initialize key learning summary and share to other technicians.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good interpersonal skill in managing/interacting with internal and external partners.
• Have 5s knowledge and Safety Principal culture in workplace, Zero Defect Quality mindset, good tardiness, proactive behaviour and culture.
