Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Kulim, Malaysia, seeks a seasoned Team Lead for the Real-Time-Dispatcher (RTD) software engineering team. You will drive dispatching and automation use-cases within the AMAT RTD framework, collaborating with Production, Engineering and Quality to deliver robust frontend solutions for digitalization projects.

The role emphasizes coaching, standardization, and re-use of solutions, with close interaction across FE sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering required.
• At least 10 years in manufacturing ops with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience in coding and software development principles.
• Familiarity with AMAT RTD-framework preferred.
• Interest in data structures and automation in FE production.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kulim RTD software engineering team.
• Develop dispatching and automation-use-cases using AMAT RTD-framework.
• Provide support for key digitalization projects in Kulim Frontend (SAP, TPS @KLM, OMAHA).
• Collaborate with FE-wide RTD community and cross-functional teams.
• Drive standardization and reuse of solutions across FE sites.
• Coach team members and ensure training and up-skilling.
• Ensure sustaining and continuous improvement of existing solutions.
• Serve as central interface for other RTD teams at FE sites.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Team lead of Kulim Real-Time-Dispatcher (RTD) software engineering team
• Development of dispatching and automation-use-cases using the AMAT RTD-framework
• Provide comprehensive support for the ongoing key digitalization projects for Kulim Frontend – e.g. one SAP, TPS @KLM or OMAHA rollout
• Close collaboration with the FE-wide RTD community and within cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering and Quality
• Drive for high level of standardization and re-use of solutions & methods in close interaction with the other Front end sites
• Coach team‑members in daily work and ensure training and up‑skilling
• Ensure sustaining and continuous improvement of the existing solutions
• Central interface for the other RTD teams @ FE sites

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Production Logistics.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in manufacturing operations with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
• Professional experience in coding and programming, with a strong foundation in software development principles and practices
• Ideally already some background / expertise with AMAT RTD-framework
• A strong interest in data structures and the development of automation solutions in front‑end (FE) production environment
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex material flows on the shop floor
• Some initial work experience in FE production and related processes, including material handling system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
