Job summary
Intrix Renewable Sdn Bhd. is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead technical development of energy efficiency and decarbonisation solutions, focusing on heat pumps and heat recovery.
You will perform audits, system design, and verification, working across manufacturing and commercial sites. The ideal candidate has a strong background in HVAC, thermodynamics and energy calculations with 5+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and related design tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Energy Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in energy efficiency, HVAC, heat pumps/chillers, industrial utilities, process systems or related fields.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid systems and energy calculations.
- Experience in energy audits, heat recovery, process integration or industrial energy projects is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical development of energy efficiency and decarbonisation solutions, from audit to implementation and verification.
- Conduct energy audits for industrial and commercial applications with data collection and baseline establishment.
- Identify opportunities for heat pump, heat recovery, process heating and cooling applications.
- Develop measurement plans and determine instrumentation for energy assessment.
- Perform engineering calculations including heating/cooling load, COP, energy savings and ROI.
- Prepare technical proposals with equipment selection, drawings, BOQ and costing.
- Conduct post-installation measurement & verification to verify energy savings.
