Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC) in Penang is seeking an embedded firmware engineer. You will develop firmware for Bosch products and work across hardware interfaces, collaborating with teams in Malaysia and Germany to meet rigorous design and testing standards.

The role requires hands-on RTOS experience, strong C programming skills, and a solid understanding of MCUs/SoCs, with a focus on robust, testable software integrated into automotive systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
• Proven embedded software development experience.
• Hands-on RTOS experience and microcontroller knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Develop embedded firmware for Bosch products.
• Interact with manufacturing and engineering test systems via Serial, Ethernet and USB.
• Collaborate with global teams in Malaysia and Germany on product development.
• Provide postproduction and failure analysis support.
• Adhere to Bosch Software Engineering processes: requirements/design/code reviews and unit testing.
