Job summary

Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions in Penang seeks a Software Project Lead to drive embedded SW development, manage schedules, and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will ensure adherence to ASPICE standards and work closely with project managers, suppliers, and customers to deliver reliable automotive software on time.

Qualifications

• Expert in embedded system development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience developing embedded applications.
• Software engineering planning experience.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to delegate, monitor and follow up assignments.
• Experience with Agile Scrum is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive SW development schedule with project managers.
• Ensure SW design/development meets schedule, cost and quality targets.
• Manage SW project team activities and resources.
• Coordinate software development processes and capture project status.
• Report SW project status to management and stakeholders.
• Identify delays and escalate budget/ deadline changes.
• Lead SW Change Management and implement plans.
• Interface with customers on issues, change requests and delivery.
• Oversee subcontract management to mitigate delays.
• Represent SW team in cross-functional discussions (production, test systems).
• Resolve engineering/process problems considering business goals.
• Adhere to Bosch Software Engineering Process and ASPICE standards.
