Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer

About the role KVA CONSULT (M) SDN BHD is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Puchong, Selangor. This full-time position is crucial in supporting the company's engineering projects and driving excellence in electrical systems design and implementation.

What you'll be doing

Design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, power, lightning protection and earthing systems.

Experience in dealing with local authorities such as local council, TNB and SKMM.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as architect, civil & structural engineer to ensure seamless integration of electrical components with the overall project requirements.

Conduct thorough technical analysis, feasibility studies, and prepare project cost estimate.

Oversee the implementation and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards and industry regulations.

Provide technical support and problem-solving expertise to project teams to address any electrical-related challenges

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the electrical engineering field

Mentor and guide junior team members to foster their professional development

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Minimum 4 years of proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the Electrical/Electronic Engineering industry

Demonstrated expertise in electrical systems design, power distribution, and control systems

Proficient in project management, problem-solving, and technical documentation

Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the electrical engineering domain

Ability to work independently and lead projects to successful completion
