Mindteck seeks an experienced EI/Automation engineer to join our manufacturing solutions team in Malaysia. You will gather requirements, design and implement EI & Automation solutions, and work with CIM/IT/Production to resolve technical issues on MES integrations.

The role requires CIM/EI/Automation project experience, strong SEMI standards knowledge, and proficiency in VB.NET/C#.NET, web services and XML. Prior MES/SECS/GEM exposure is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant CIM/EI/Automation project experience.
• Strong knowledge of SEMI standards E-004, E-005, E-010, E-030, E-037.
• Familiarity with SEMI E-081 and E-142 advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Requirements gathering and design EI & Automation solutions for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with CIM/IT/Production/Product/Process Engineers to resolve issues.
• Prepare training materials and conduct UAT with key users.
• Guide L1 support and provide L2/L3 assistance to ensure system availability.
• Troubleshoot issues and generate compliance reports; liaise with vendors to meet standards.
