Job summary

Qualifications

• Min 3 years in operation/maintenance of large-scale manufacturing systems.
• Proficient in SQL (CRUD) and basic database design.
• Familiar with C# programming and software development.
• Experience with system configuration, setup and deployment.
• Familiar with Axure for system design tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Mandarin proficiency required for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an MES Engineer to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of manufacturing systems at our Malaysia factory. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure system stability, improve production workflows, and support new system implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot production-related systems, including manufacturing, equipment, quality, and document management systems, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution.
• Work with business departments to gather requirements, propose solutions, and manage the full system development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Prepare system operation manuals and provide training to key users.
• Support new production processes and system implementations, including system design, network planning, server configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Perform regular system health checks, manage data archiving, and support system planning and implementation for new factories and sites.
• Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates with a college diploma and strong relevant experience may also be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of large-scale manufacturing systems, or at least 1 year of system design experience.
• Proficient in SQL, including CRUD operations and basic database table design.
• Familiarity with C# programming and software development.
• Experience with system configuration, setup, and implementation.
• Familiarity with system design tools such as Axure.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
