Job summary

SP Data Centres seeks an experienced EHS Consultant to support major data centre construction projects in a high-performance client-side environment. Senior-level role requires overseeing complex projects and engaging with principal contractors, consultants, and executives.

You will drive safety governance, influence project culture, and embed world-class EHS standards throughout delivery, reporting to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in senior EHS advisory or client-side oversight roles.
• Strong background in data centres or high-risk construction projects.
• Knowledge of local EHS legislation and ISO 45001/OSHA.
• Experience influencing contractors and stakeholders in fast-paced projects.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, CSP, or CMIOSH are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-side EHS oversight across major construction projects.
• Conduct governance-level inspections, audits, and assurance reviews.
• Evaluate contractor safety management systems and permit-to-work processes.
• Monitor leading and lagging indicators to identify trends.
• Partner with project teams to influence safety culture and excellence.
• Support incident investigations and EHS performance reporting.
