Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a dedicated EHS Engineer to support a Data Centre operations project. The role focuses on implementing and monitoring HSE policies, conducting inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure a safe, compliant site.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or engineering, has strong communication and reporting skills, and can manage site safety activities with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
• 2 years or more experience in HSE, preferably in construction, facilities, or data centre projects.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and industry standards.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g. NEBOSH, WSQ, OSHA, ISO 45001) preferred.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage site safety activities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and site safety plans.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and client requirements.
• Support permit-to-work (PTW) activities and high-risk work monitoring.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare HSE reports, documentation, and records.
