Job summary

SP Data Centres is seeking two experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Leads to join major data centre construction projects in Malaysia. You will lead all EHS activities, drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with local legislation and client requirements on-site.

The role focuses on delivering safe, high-performing construction environments with strong stakeholder engagement across contractors and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading EHS on major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and construction safety requirements in Malaysia.
• Experience managing contractor safety performance is desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site EHS activities throughout the construction phase.

• Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Support contractors in developing safe systems of work and method statements.

We are seeking two experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Leads to join major data centre construction projects in Malaysia. These are exciting opportunities to play a key role in delivering large-scale, high-profile projects while driving a strong safety culture across site operations.

As the EHS Lead, you will provide leadership and oversight of all health, safety and environmental activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements, local regulations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all site EHS activities throughout the construction phase.
• Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture across the project.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation, client requirements and company EHS standards.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Support contractors in developing safe systems of work and method statements.

About You

We're looking for professionals who have:

• Proven EHS leadership experience on major construction projects.
• Experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities, industrial or large-scale commercial construction is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and construction safety requirements in Malaysia.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing contractor safety performance.
• Ability to work independently while influencing teams at all levels.
• Relevant EHS qualifications and certifications.
