Job summary

PGMall is a leading Malaysia-based e-commerce platform revolutionising online shopping. Senior E-Commerce Procurement leads supplier sourcing and negotiation to build a profitable, well-stocked catalog across our marketplace.

You will drive supplier onboarding, terms negotiations, and strategic category sourcing while coordinating with inventory, marketing, and finance to meet margin targets and growth in GMV.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in e-commerce.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiation and cost savings delivery.
• Strong understanding of consignment, dropship, and marketplace procurement models.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with cross-border procurement (China, SEA region).
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and brand partners (consignment, dropship, and outright purchase).
• Negotiate pricing, margins, MOQs, payment terms, rebates, and exclusivity.
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships; conduct performance reviews.
• Manage supplier contracts, renewals, and compliance documents.
• Develop category sourcing strategies aligned with sales targets and margins.
• Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and cost breakdowns to identify savings.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives (alternative sourcing, direct-from-manufacturer).
• Collaborate with inventory/warehouse on stock planning and PO fulfilment.
• Support marketing with exclusive deals, bundles, or promotional pricing.
• Maintain PO records, supplier databases, and procurement trackers.
