Job summary

UNHCR Malaysia is seeking a digital fundraising program expert to expand donor acquisition online. You will adapt content for emails, websites and social channels, and develop campaigns in collaboration with PR and creative teams.

You will monitor trends, engage influencers, manage content calendars, and help coordinate omnichannel fundraising efforts including face-to-face activities when needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary education or university degree in communications or related fields.
• Experience in public relations, media, events and content creation (min 1–2 years).
• Strong written and verbal English; Bahasa Malaysia desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review, digitize and adapt content for emails, websites and social platforms.
• Develop PSP communications strategy, manage budget and campaigns.
• Monitor trends and insert UNHCR messaging into conversations.
• Identify, engage and manage relationships with digital influencers and content creators.
• Develop content calendars and manage social media across owned, paid and earned channels.
