Job summary

UNHCR Malaysia is seeking a digitally focused intern to support donor recruitment and digital communications across email, web, mobile, and social channels. You will help optimize engagement and donations through content adaptation and analytics, working closely with the PSP team.

The role involves producing digital assets, planning ads and events, and coordinating with external partners to maximize campaign impact in Malaysia.

Qualifications

Recent graduate or current student in a university/college program; eligible within two years of applying.
Completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant to UNHCR work.
Note: immediate family of UNHCR staff are not eligible for internship.

Responsibilities

Review, digitize, schedule and adapt web content from UNHCR perspectives to enrich emails, websites, mobile and social platforms targeting donors and prospects.
Analyze user journeys and social media insights to optimize engagement and conversion, then implement to boost acquisition and engagement programs.
Produce, consolidate and coordinate digital assets between UNHCR offices and external partners to ensure campaign efficiency.
Plan and organize digital advertisements, fundraising and communications events to generate brand awareness and funding for UNHCR.
Assist agencies in determining promotional tactics to increase web traffic and engagement, including coordinating events and influencers.
