Job summary

Xplor Technologies is seeking a Senior Devops Engineer in Malaysia to join the Xplor Pay division. You will implement and maintain observability, respond to incidents, and design scalable infrastructure on AWS.

The role emphasizes mentoring, security, and streamlined CI/CD across the stack. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in a similar environment, strong cloud know‑how, and a passion for secure, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in a similar DevOps/Cloud environment.
• Solid working knowledge in managing cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Understanding of security best practices for web apps.
• Linux administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Keep the lights on by monitoring and addressing incidents and production issues.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and design scalable, resilient systems using IaC (Terraform).
• Mentor junior team members and promote DevOps best practices.
• Implement security controls and collaborate with security teams.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and tooling to streamline development and deployment.
