Job summary

Accenture Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Digital Banking squad. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate builds, deployments, tests, and releases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and velocity.

The role requires hands-on Jenkins, Unix Shell scripting, and Java, with experience across Oracle databases and multiple UNIX-family OS environments.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, or Release Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting and Java (mandatory).
• Experience working with Oracle databases.
• Experience supporting applications on HP-UX, Linux, and Solaris operating systems.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, automation, version control, and release management.
• Experience troubleshooting build, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.
• Automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes to improve delivery efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Unix Shell scripting and Java.
• Support application deployment, configuration management, and environment provisioning across development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize build pipelines, deployment workflows, and system performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Implement code quality, security scanning, and artifact management processes using enterprise DevOps tools.
• Maintain documentation for deployment processes, automation scripts, and operational procedures.
• Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote DevOps best practices, automation, and operational excellence within Digital Banking projects.
