Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment, and enable AI-assisted operations in a high-performance fintech environment. You will work with software engineers, QA, and project teams to standardize delivery and improve reliability.

The role requires 1-5 years in DevOps, strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Groovy), and Linux fluency, with hybrid work from Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-5 years of experience in DevOps / CI/CD / automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins (pipeline design, shared libraries, credentials, agents/nodes).
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Bash, Python, Groovy).
• Familiarity with Git and DevOps workflows.
• Understanding of CI/CD best practices and Linux environments.
• Strong communication skills and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build & Own CI/CD: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Automate Everything: Automate build, test, deployment and provisioning processes.
• Enable AI Agents in Operations: Integrate AI-assisted tooling into DevOps workflows.
• Improve Reliability & Quality: Implement controls and quality gates for releases.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with engineers, QA, and project teams to standardize delivery.
• Observe & Troubleshoot: Support production and non-production environments; root cause analysis.
