Job summary

Annata is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead design, automation, and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for D365 solutions. You will ensure scalable, secure, and resilient delivery while mentoring engineers and driving best practices across teams.

You will collaborate with the DevOps Lead and stakeholders to implement pipeline-as-code, monitor pipelines, and optimise resources, with a focus on security, reliability, and performance in a Microsoft-based ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a DevOps, Systems Administration or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.
• Strong knowledge of YAML templating.
• Deep knowledge of ALM for Dynamics 365 FinOps and Power Platform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
• Solid networking, security, and database concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Applicant must be Malaysian and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify improvements to reduce errors and increase reliability.
• Stay current with DevOps trends and propose valuable enhancements.

About the Role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will provide technical leadership in designing, automating, and optimising CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient delivery of D365 solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for D365 product engineering.
• Define and implement pipeline-as-code strategies, including reusable templates and secure resource access.
• Lead automation of build, test, deployment, and infrastructure configuration to minimise manual effort and risk.
• Own monitoring and observability for pipelines and platforms, extending logging and telemetry to proactively identify issues.
• Manage, monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure and platform services, including configuration, performance, and scaling.
• Design and maintain robust, reusable scripts and automation, including appropriate testing practices.
• Lead incident response activities, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for DevOps processes, tools, and standards.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps Lead to deliver strategic goals that contribute to overall team success.
• Proactively identify and suggest improvements to ways of working to reduce errors and increase reliability.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps trends and technologies, evaluating and introducing improvements where valuable.
• Mentor and guide less experienced engineers, promoting best practices, collaboration, and continuous learning across teams.

Requirements

• Masters' degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps, Systems Administration, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.
• Strong knowledge of YAML templatization.
• Deep knowledge in managing ALM processes for Dynamics 365 FinOps and Power Platform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and database concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Applicant must be Malaysian and be fluent in English.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Familiarity with regular expressions.
