Job summary

Flex is seeking a Debug Engineer in Penang to support manufacturing, analyze test data, and guide corrective actions for yield improvements. The role involves training floor staff and coordinating with engineering on test hardware and software issues.

Based in Bukit Minyak, Penang, you will evaluate PCBA failures, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to process efficiency through meticulous testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of related field experience.
• Good debug troubleshooting knowledge in RF, Analog, Digital and DC instruments.
• Perform in-depth PCBA failure analysis on failed units and customer returns.

Responsibilities

• Understand test conditions and sequences of test operations.
• Prepare technical summary reports for engineering and management.
• Interface with engineering to resolve testing problems and malfunctions.
• Use computer hardware/software to conduct tests on electronics and software.
• Investigate root causes and coordinate corrective actions; monitor improvements.
• Evaluate and interpret test data and product performance with evidence.
