Job summary

Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner located in Prai, Penang, seeking a Senior Debug Engineer to support our teams building great products. The role involves testing, data analysis and root-cause resolution to improve product quality.

You will collaborate with electronic and software engineers, resolve test issues, and contribute to process improvements while applying FPGA/BGA concepts. This is a hands-on, site-based position in Penang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Typically requires 5+ years of progressive experience in related functions.

Responsibilities

• Understand test conditions, sequences and test phases.
• Prepare technical summary reports for engineering and management.
• Interface with engineering to resolve testing problems and data issues.
• Use software/hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems.
• Allocate defect causes and prepare follow-up reports with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with floor support and test operators for problem solving.
• Investigate root causes of test yield problems and coordinate corrective actions.
• Evaluate and configure digital circuits using FPGA and BGA.
• Resolve failures from origin to detection and interpret test data.
