Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) in Penang, Malaysia is seeking Test Engineers for Datacenter Accelerated Computing products. You will develop test strategies, validate hardware/software, and work across cross-functional teams to enable AI/ML/HPC datacenter GPUs.

You will contribute to automated diagnostics, test content in Python, and manufacturing test solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with global product engineering teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (MS preferred).
• Experience with manufacturing test programs at platform level is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategy for new product features and fixtures.
• Review and provide feedback for DFT during design phases.
• Debug hardware and software issues during build phases.
• Contribute to automated diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure.
• Define test solutions for manufacturing across board and system segments.
• Support development of test content in Python and scripting.
• Investigate new manufacturing test tech to improve production efficiency.
• Identify product improvement activities to reduce cost and improve yield.
• Provide technical supervision or mentoring where needed.
