Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a System Test Engineering Manager for Datacenter Accelerated Computing products.

You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver AI/ML/HPC-oriented datacenter GPUs, focusing on manufacturing test solutions, automation, validation, and program management with manufacturing partners. Responsibilities include defining test strategies, debugging complex issues, and developing Python-based test content, with potential mentoring of junior

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (MS preferred).
• Experience with cross-functional stakeholders to drive yield improvements to manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategy for new product features including test fixtures and diagnostic software.
• Review and provide feedback for DFT in early design stages.
• Debug complex hardware and software issues during build phases.
• Define qualification, maintenance, and release procedures for test solutions in manufacturing data center products.
• Contribute to automated diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure.
• Define manufacturing hardware test solutions for Board and System product segments.
• Support development of test content and solutions in Python.
• Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technology to improve production efficiency.
• Identify and plan product improvement activities to reduce cost and improve yield.
