Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in Penang, Malaysia, seeks highly skilled engineers for the DCGPU lab to support silicon bring-up and validation. You will perform hands-on experiments, triage complex system issues, and contribute to test automation and platform rework in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities include hardware setup for tests, initial debugging of diverse Issues, and collaboration with platform leads to reproduce and validate fixes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associate Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred.
• Read and interpret board schematics.
• Experience with embedded software and hardware bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Set up hardware to support remote/local test execution and workloads in the DCGPU lab.
• Initial troubleshooting and debug of system/firmware/software issues across many development systems.
• Reproduce issues and verify fixes with platform leads and engineers.
• Provide logs and statistics to aid further debugging.
• Integrate automated testing in CI/CD (Jenkins, Ansible).
• Work in a ticketing system and communicate progress clearly.
