Job summary

Schneider Electric in Malaysia is seeking a senior technical leader to own the cooling scope for Cloud & Service Provider datacenter projects from tender through execution. You will design, validate, and optimize cooling solutions, coordinating with factories, procurement, and project teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements and Schneider Electric standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership of chiller plants, air-cooled solutions, CRAH/CRAC units, and energy efficiency

Qualifications

7+ years leading technical scopes of customer projects or major project work packages.
Experience in Datacenter, Cloud & Service Provider, Hyperscale, Colocation, or mission-critical environments.
Experience preparing technical proposals and leading technical execution of cooling projects.
Experience coordinating technical activities with engineering centers, factories, suppliers, and project teams.
Strong technical expertise in datacenter cooling systems and thermal management solutions.
Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of cooling solutions for CSP datacenter opportunities.
Analyze customer requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to define compliant and optimized cooling solutions.
Develop and validate conceptual, basic, and preliminary cooling designs during tendering.
Work closely with factories, suppliers, and engineering platforms to define the proposed cooling architecture.
Review technical proposals from Schneider Electric factories and cooling technology partners to ensure compliance with customer and project requirements.
Support Tender Managers and Sales teams during technical clarifications, customer presentations, and proposal reviews.
Identify technical risks, assumptions, exclusions, and opportunities associated with proposed cooling solutions.
Ensure proposed solutions align with Schneider Electric engineering principles related to quality, safety, sustainability, reliability, and energy efficiency.
