Job summary

Grab is seeking a senior analytics professional to own metrics for product spaces across GrabFood, GrabMart, and more. You will define KPIs, run experiments, and partner with product, design, engineering and data science to shape the roadmap.

You will build AI-assisted analytics workflows, dashboards, and self-serve insights while coaching junior analysts. The role is onsite in Petaling Jaya with regional collaboration across Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in analytics or quantitative roles with metrics ownership for consumer product, growth, pricing, CRM or marketing.
• Fluent SQL on large datasets; Python or R for analysis.
• Hands-on experience designing and analysing controlled experiments (A/B tests, holdouts, quasi-experiments).
• Sound statistics applied to decisions: hypothesis testing, CI, sample size, multiple comparisons.
• Precise metric framing and structured problem solving for ambiguous questions.
• Clear communication to product leaders and engineers, in writing and live.
• Experience building AI workflows and coaching analysts.

Responsibilities

• Define metrics for your problem space and leading/lagging indicators with guardrails.
• Design and analyse controlled experiments with product manager and engineers.
• Diagnose metric movements, decompose by funnel, segment, platform and market.
• Size opportunities with deep-dives into consumer, merchant and driver-partner behavior.
• Oversee data specs and instrumentation for new features.
• Build dashboards and certified metrics for self-serve visibility.
• Build AI-assisted analytics workflows and validate against raw data.
• Improve experimentation rigor and coach junior analysts.
