Job summary

Grab in Malaysia is seeking a Data Scientist to turn driver-related challenges into scalable data-driven solutions. You will work with big data to derive insights and build models for supply repositioning, activation and incentives within Grab's marketplace.

You will report to our Senior Data Science Manager and be base onsite in our Malaysia office. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into data science formulations, develop and deploy ML solutions, and monitor

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, statistics, data science, or related field.
• Experience with data processing pipelines (ETL) for analysis and modeling tasks.
• Hands-on experience with the ML lifecycle and scalable end-to-end ML solutions.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle; write readable, testable code.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch and Spark.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify driver repositioning, activation and incentive problems.
• Translate problems into data science formulations and design potential solutions.
• Retrieve and analyse data for exploratory studies and prototyping.
• Develop, deploy and measure scalable DS solutions; build monitoring dashboards.
