Job summary

Grab is seeking a Senior Data Scientist (Analytics) to join the Lending analytics team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will work with Product, Design and Engineering to transform data into actionable insights across payments, lending, and Kios, supporting product roadmaps and business strategies.

You will lead analyses of user behaviour, run experiments, and build self-serve analytics for partners, with a focus on scalable, data-driven decision making within Grab Financial Services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of analytics, BI, or data science in tech/FinTech or e-commerce.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries and querying large relational databases.
• Hands-on data analysis with Python and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, design, and engineering to obtain insights and guide product decisions.
• Perform deep-dives into user behaviour, segmentation and product efficacy.
• Provide tailored analysis and define key business and product metrics; advise on roadmap.
• Design, measure, and recommend A/B tests and multivariate experiments.
• Analyse clickstream and transactional data to uncover insights and guide metrics; manage instrumentation for releases.
• Develop self-serve solutions for partners that are scalable and automated; consider LLM/AI plans.
