Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan GMRecruitment Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Leader to drive large-scale data centre projects in Malaysia. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and authorities, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with top safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 15–20+ years in mission-critical facilities, strong knowledge of data centre construction (CSA and MEP), and fluent English

• Sound problem-solving skills with a focus on risk mitigation and delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and closeout of multiple construction projects from inception to handover.
• Provide leadership to project teams and coordinate across departments, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary point of contact with clients, contractors, supply chain, and authorities.
• Own EHS compliance and maintain ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards.
• Manage budgets, manpower, and materials to meet project goals.
• Support site due diligence, land acquisition, and RFPs; maintain full project documentation.
