Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Malaysia I Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a senior professional to lead operational reporting and capacity management across its regional data center portfolio. You will analyze usage data, benchmark performance, and provide insights to senior management for strategic decisions.

The role requires strong data analytics, English fluency, and deep knowledge of data center infrastructure including power, cooling and networking systems. Travel around the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data center-relevant disciplines (operations, design, construction or product).
• Strong analytical and data skills; ability to translate operational data into actionable insight for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular weekly and monthly performance reports for senior management and key stakeholders.
• Gather, validate and analyse usage data to identify trends and sustainability metrics influencing system performance.
• Conduct market analysis on competitors’ operational data to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain capacity inventory across regional portfolio, including power allocation and connectivity at multiple levels.
• Forecast future capacity requirements based on business growth and usage patterns.
