Job summary

DayOne, a global leader in data center infrastructure, is seeking a Manager, Business Analysis to join its Business Operations team in Malaysia. You will drive data-driven decision making by delivering insights, forecasting, and performance analysis across commercial, operational, and financial domains.

You will build and automate dashboards, monitor KPIs, conduct variance analyses, and prepare management reports and board decks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years in business analysis, preferably in data centre/IT infra.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication, with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support annual and multi-year planning cycles by consolidating inputs from various business units.
• Prepare forecasts including demand planning, capacity utilization, and revenue projections.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align forecasts with strategic objectives and constraints.
• Monitor KPIs and propose initiatives to improve business outcomes.
• Evaluate financial impact of operational changes and energy usage.
• Analyse data to provide actionable insights and identify performance trends.
• Track actual vs. budgeted performance and provide variance analysis.
• Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards and reports across metrics.
• Prepare management reports, board decks, and investor materials.
• Map and evaluate processes; propose enhancements to improve efficiency and control.
• Assist in designing and rolling out new workflows or automation tools.
