Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking a Customer Quality Management Staff Engineer in Penang, Malaysia. You will represent QM in Back End production for intelligent multi-chip modules and coordinate customer visits and audits.

You will manage complaints and RMA, prepare qualification reports, and support customer inquiries on life time, qualifications, and PCN documentation. You will drive quality improvements in collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or Physics required.
• 6–10 years of experience in Customer Quality Management.
• Experience with IC design and opto-semiconductors is preferred.
• Proficiency in electrical measurement tools and programming (Python, SQL).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Customer Quality Management representative for Back End production of intelligent multi-chip modules.
• Coordinate and lead customer visits and audits (Local Audit Support).
• Manage complaints/returns (RMA) and coordinate failure analysis with global teams.
• Prepare qualification reports and customer-specific documentation (qual packages, reports).
