Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer in Supplier Quality Engineering in Malaysia (Penang) to manage QA for outsourced semiconductor assembly and test suppliers.

You will serve as the main quality contact for suppliers, work with engineering and quality teams, and lead containment and corrective actions for nonconforming material. The role requires strong problem-solving, supplier management, and the ability to travel to OSAT sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• 7–10+ years in supplier quality, semiconductor manufacturing, or related fields.
• Knowledge of problem-solving methods (8D, 5-Why) and APQP/QMS concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality performance of OSAT suppliers and ensure conformance to ADI requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Quality, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead quality investigations, containment, and corrective actions; drive MRB reviews.
• Support supplier/customer audits and change management; willing to travel.
