Job summary

Affin Bank Group is seeking an experienced credit risk professional to monitor, analyze and report on the credit risk profile, asset quality trends and key exposures across ABG. You will present meaningful insights to senior management and committees, including the GMC, GMCC, GBRMC and the Board, helping steer risk decisions.

You will enhance surveillance dashboards and reports, conduct ongoing portfolio analysis, and coordinate with the GCRC and valuers, driving timely action on risk issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in credit portfolio analysis or risk management.
• CCP/CCE or related certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of retail and business credit and risk management.
• Proficient in SAS or analytics tools for data extraction and reporting.
• Familiar with BNM’s credit policy, regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interaction with multiple organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and report credit risk profile, asset quality trends and exposures across ABG.
• Provide meaningful insights to senior management and committees (GMC, GMCC, GBRMC, Board).
• Oversee overdue annual credit reviews and escalate material issues with GMCC/board.
• Enhance risk surveillance dashboards, reports and monitoring tools.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and analysis of loan/financing portfolios and asset quality.
• Governance and performance monitoring of the bank's panel valuers.
• Coordinate Group Credit Resolution Committee discussions and actions.
• Undertake thematic reviews, portfolio deep dives and ad hoc assignments.
