Job summary

Affin Bank Berhad is seeking an individual to monitor and report credit risk across the Group Enterprise Banking portfolio. The successful candidate will analyze loan portfolios and provide insights to management on key risk issues.

This role requires strong analytical skills to enhance MIS reporting capabilities and ensure timely reporting of credit risk data. The responsibilities include preparing performance reports and supporting the Asset Quality Management team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor various risk positions (by sector, product type, rating, etc.)
• Analyze and report credit risk profile for Group Enterprise Banking
• Monitor and analyze loan portfolios and highlight key risk issues to Management
• Assess, develop and enhance credit risk Management Information System (MIS) and analytical framework through accurate reporting of credit risk on a timely basis
• Prepare statistical and performance reports on loans/financing portfolio by extracting data from core banking system and data warehouse
• Monitor data integrity in banking systems and ensure data reliability for effective control and management of risk exposure
• Undertake data cleaning exercise on a periodical basis
• Review and expand credit risk MIS reporting capabilities in line with advancement in data management and IT systems to enhance portfolio management reporting
• Support Asset Quality Management team by providing consolidated data from both external and internal resources for credit monitoring purposes
• Support the growth of the assigned lending loan portfolios by closely monitoring the development of the portfolios
• Ensure timely submission of management reports
