Affin Bank Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a credit risk analyst to prepare, review, and monitor the credit risk profile and emerging issues for the Affin Bank Group, delivering insights to the GMC, GMCC, GBRMC, GCRC and the Board where relevant. You will oversee overdue reviews, enhance risk surveillance reports, and coordinate with panel valuers while supporting the Group Chief Risk Officer.

A degree in Finance/Business/Actuarial and 3 years banking risk experience are expected; familiarity

Qualifications

Degree in business/finance/stats/arts with quantitative focus.
Minimum 3 years in banking risk management or similar.
Certification such as CCP/CCE is advantageous.
Familiarity with analytics tools for data extraction and reporting.
Ability to interact with various levels of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, analyse, monitor and report the credit risk profile and emerging risk issues / risk trends of Affin Bank Group (ABG).
Identify key risk issues and credit exposures and provide insights and risk assessments to relevant Committees.
Monitor overdue annual credit reviews and highlight concerns to the GMCC.
Develop and enhance credit risk surveillance reports for timely risk identification and reporting.
Monitor loan/financing portfolio and asset quality; identify deterioration trends and actions.
Oversee panel valuers performance and empanelment processes.
Assist, manage and facilitate Group Credit Resolution Committee meetings.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.
