Ahmad Deniel, Ruben & Co is a reputable Malaysia-based law firm focused on conveyancing and complex developer/project transactions. We seek a Senior Legal Associate to manage conveyancing files, draft and review documents, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in conveyancing, strong drafting and client-management skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a professional team.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 6 years of practical experience in conveyancing.
• Experience handling developer and project related conveyancing matters is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of conveyancing procedures, S&P agreements, loan documentation and related instruments.
• Good understanding of Malaysian land office, stamping and registration procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage multiple files, priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive, organised and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Able to work independently with appropriate guidance as well as collaboratively within a team.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and accountability.
• Proficiency in Chinese and experience with Denning software will be an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Handle conveyancing matters, focusing on developer and project related transactions.
• Prepare, review and attend to execution of Sale & Purchase Agreements, loan documents, transfer documents, and related instruments.
• Manage assigned files from inception to completion with supervision.
• Liaise with clients, developers, financial institutions, agents and authorities for assigned files.
• Follow up on documentation, signatures, payments, stamping, and registration for timely completion.
• Conduct relevant searches and assist with land office, stamping and registration processes.
• Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding matters to progress files.
• Identify and escalate issues or discrepancies to supervising lawyer.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date file records and case status.
• Ensure all work complies with laws, regulations and internal procedures.
• Provide legal and administrative support to the conveyancing team as required.
• Collaborate with partners, senior lawyers and team members to share knowledge and develop the team.
