Job summary

Oliver Healthcare Packaging in Malaysia seeks an experienced Converting Technician to set up and operate converting packaging equipment for disposable medical device packaging markets.

You will read customer specifications, mount dies, align auxiliary equipment, and ensure product quality while maintaining clean, safe work areas. Training and a path to overtime eligibility are offered.

Qualifications

• TVET/SKM or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, Printing Technology or closely related field.
• Secondary school graduate with 2+ years of experience in Flexo Printing, Slitting, Pouching or Die Cutting operations.
• Basic mathematical aptitude, reading measuring rules, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate converting equipment following procedures.
• Read and understand customer specifications for packaging.
• Mount plates, dies and secure assemblies in machine bed.
• Install and align auxiliary equipment (punches, secondary dies, edge guides, eye block readers).
• Clean dies and return to storage area.
• Inspect finished sample for imperfections and perform spec checks.
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality requirements.
• Complete production and labor reporting daily/weekly.
• Perform 5S and housekeeping to maintain safe, organized work area.
• Deliver briefings on packaging processes and participate in 5S and safety audits.
