Job summary

Oliver Healthcare Packaging in Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Intern to support the Manufacturing Supervisor. This hands-on role provides exposure to manufacturing operations, productivity initiatives, and documentation practices to drive manufacturing excellence.

You will assist with line monitoring to meet quality targets, help prepare work instructions, perform data collection and root-cause analysis, and uphold safety and environmental policies while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in science, engineering, manufacturing or related field.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
• Strong data collection and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate/advanced).
• Desire to drive accountability across project teams and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manufacturing Supervisor to enhance manufacturing excellence and productivity.
• Assist with preparation and compliance of manufacturing documentation such as work instructions and procedures.
• Contribute to quality and continuous improvement through data collection and root-cause analysis.
• Promote safe work practices and report safety/environmental concerns.
