Job summary

LAL Eco Construction Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage tender documentation, costing, and contractual processes.

The role involves studying drawings, preparing estimates, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and compliant submissions. Responsibilities include post-contract administration, cost control, progress claims, and final accounts, with emphasis on proactive risk management and precise documentation across projects

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Knowledge of contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Mandarin speaking to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and compile complete tender documentation, including BQ, pricing schedules, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Study drawings, specifications, and other tender documents to understand scope and assess commercial risks.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing based on tender documents, market rates, and historical data.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications using CostX or Bluebeam.
• Review, analyse, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare interim certificates for subcontractors and suppliers.
