Job summary

Swissma Building Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Contract Assistant Manager) to oversee the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, review, negotiation, administration, renewal and termination to protect the company’s commercial interests.

You will coordinate with Procurement, Finance, HR, Legal and Project teams to ensure contract compliance, proper records, milestones and service levels while tracking variations and claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field as listed in the requirements.
• 5–8 years of experience in contract management, procurement, commercial management, or related roles.
• Experience managing commercial contracts, vendor, service and project contracts.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts and amendments.
• Ensure contracts comply with policies, laws, and business objectives.
• Maintain an organized contract repository and accurate records.
• Monitor renewal dates and termination clauses.
• Identify contractual risks and mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, contractors, consultants, and legal advisers on contract matters.
• Provide contract guidance and support to management and teams.
• Track deliverables, milestones, and service levels.
• Prepare contract reports and risk assessments.
• Assist in dispute resolution and change orders.
