Job summary

POD Resources Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from design handover through completion. You will manage timelines, budgets, resources, and safety compliance, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in a dynamic design and build environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven PM experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of construction projects from initiation through completion
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial parameters
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, reports, change orders, and correspondence
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns promptly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites
• Manage project teams and coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth project execution
• Report on project performance to senior management and clients using relevant metrics and data analysis
