Job summary

POD Resources SB in Malaysia is seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to take ownership of construction projects from design handover through site commencement, construction, completion and final handover.

You will oversee timelines, budgets, resources, and safety compliance, coordinating with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams to deliver projects that meet quality standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in construction project management.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of construction projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with terms.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to meet specifications and standards.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including drawings, reports, and change orders.
• Communicate with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on status and concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all sites.
• Manage project teams and coordinate with departments for smooth execution.
• Report on project performance to senior management and clients using relevant metrics.
